Ephesians 4:22-24

Ephesians 4:22-24

That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away—all things have become new. You are a partaker of the divine nature. This isn’t just theological language; it’s your reality. You don’t think like you used to. You don’t desire what you once craved. You have new affections, a new mind, and a new heart. So why do we keep dragging up what God has buried?

Stop repenting for sins already repented of. Let old things pass away. Your responsibility as a Christian is to live according to your new nature, not your old one. Go into your spiritual closet, take off the dirty garments of who you were, and put on the new self, created in the likeness of Christ, believe and live as the new creation you truly are.
