And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying…

When Jabez prayed, he didn’t pray to just any god—he called on “the God of Israel,” the God with a proven track record of faithfulness. His faith wasn’t wishful thinking; it was rooted in God’s past deliverance, provision, and power.

Your faith is only as strong as the object it rests upon. Look back at your own story. Where has God been faithful? He delivered you from darkness, sustained you through wilderness seasons, and granted you victories you couldn’t achieve alone. God’s past faithfulness prophesies future blessings. As you pray remember: you’re not hoping God might show up—you’re calling on the God who always has. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
