All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John 1:3

Nothing makes sense when Jesus is not part of the equation because through Him everything was made.  With Him we have life and joy, without Him there will always be something missing. You can make a million dollars, have the biggest house and the shiniest car and still not be content. Jesus is what satisfies that yearning for something else.  

One of the most liberating things of being a child of God and walking with Him is we don’t need anything else. We have the most important thing in our lives now, Jesus!  The One, who from the beginning, created all things and is our Lord, our God and our Friend.
