Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.

Philippians 4:15

Even though Paul had only spent three weeks with the Thessalonians before being run out of town, the work for God that began there continued to bear much fruit as they were one of the only supporters who stood by Paul to help meet his needs.

Maybe today your heart is for a ministry that few are taking interest in. Maybe you’re praying and asking God to raise up others to join the work. Consider the faithfulness of this small fellowship and how God used them to continue His work. As always, if we are faithful in the little, God will give us much. On that you can rely.
