Psalm 64:10

The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.

There are so many promises to the righteous from the Lord. I like this one in particular, which says the righteous shall be glad in the Lord and trust in Him. In a world in which things seem to change minute by minute, how awesome is it that we can have joy in our God. He doesn’t change and He doesn’t hate us, so we can know that whatever happens in our lives, the Lord is still in charge.

If you’re struggling with your joy, spend some more time with God and remember His promises. Remember Romans 8:28 says, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. If you’re trusting God, you should have overflowing gladness!
