Romans 8:35-37
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:35-37
As we conclude this week’s devotional, let’s focus on the unshakeable confidence we can have in God’s love. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. This love isn’t dependent on our performance or perfection, but on the finished work of Christ. In the face of life’s challenges, failures, or doubts, we can stand firm in this love.
As you go through your day, spend some time meditating on the vastness and permanence of God’s love for you. By His love and grace, we stand forgiven. The blood of Jesus Christ doesn’t only make us clean, it keeps us clean. Jesus is our advocate not because we don’t sin, but because we do sin. How does this reality change your approach to your daily struggles? Let this truth sink deep into your heart, transforming your identity and empowering you to live boldly for Christ.
